In Singapore, companies are required to comply with various accounting regulations and reporting standards to ensure transparency and accuracy in their financial statements. 

The key regulations include the Singapore Companies Act and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS). Companies must also submit annual financial statements and tax returns to IRAS and comply with the requirements of ACRA.

Financial reports can be prepared by an employee, the company director, or an in-house accountant. Alternatively, you can engage HC Consultancy Services for expert assistance.

Your company’s financial report may be exempt from an audit if it is a dormant or Exempt Private Company that meets at least two of the following criteria for the immediate past two consecutive financial years:

  1. Total annual revenue is less than SG$10 million.
  2. Total assets less than SG$10 million.
  3. Fewer than 50 employees.
