Future-Ready SMEs: Embrace the Change to Transform
The SME Centre Conference is an annual event for small and medium enterprises to learn how to grow their business, and network with well-respected business leaders as well as knowledge experts. Conference participants are provided with an excellent platform to connect with over 800 SME CEOs, founders, entrepreneurs and policy makers.
Organised by SME Centres in Singapore and led by SME Centre@SICCI in partnership with SPRING Singapore, IE Singapore, IMDA and OCBC Bank, this year’s conference seeks to expose small and medium enterprises to fresh business ideas and management model and insights and experiences of industry leaders and experts.
The SME Centre Conference is also a valuable channel for SMEs to gain practical and valuable information about business outlook and trends, and is catered for SMEs of all sizes with content targeted at business owners, management and change-makers.
The conference will be held on 5 April 2017 at the Max Atria (Singapore Expo). By registering early, SMEs can enjoy ‘Early Bird and Group Discounts’.

The SME Centre@SICCI has been playing an active role in helping Singapore Indian businesses build their business capabilities since its inception in 2008. One of the core functions is to develop Capability Workshops that educate and equip SMEs with knowledge on various organisational functions, highlight potential areas for improvement and enhance their competitive edge.
The Centre’s Chairperson and SICCI Director, Ms Helen Campos said, “We work closely with Government agencies such as SPRING Singapore, International Enterprise Singapore, Economic Development Board, Infocomm Media Development Authority and Workforce Singapore to help Singapore Indian enterprises develop a better understanding of available assistance schemes and assist them with the relevant applications.”
The SME Centre@SICCI continues to be one of the best performers yearly and hundreds of SICCI members have benefitted from their services.
Added Ms Campos, “The Centre has partnered with professionals in diverse sectors to organise over 50 workshops on a myriad of capability areas such as Marketing, Financial Management, Innovation, Customer Service, Intellectual Property and Human Resources. These workshops and seminars are open free to the public.”
