Foreigners who wish to work in Singapore can apply for the Personalised Employment Pass (PEP) if they had drawn an overseas salary of at least S$18,000 and that the last drawn fixed monthly salary overseas was not more than six months from the time of the application. The Singapore employment pass will then be issued only once and valid for three years and is non-renewable. Existing EP Holders will be eligible to apply for the Singapore employment pass, PEP if their last drawn fixed monthly salary from Singapore is more than S$12,000. However, a PEP holder is not allowed to engage in any entrepreneurial activities and must apply for a different work visa to do so.
