LISHA Women’s Wing (LWW) and Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry – Women’s Entrepreneurs’ Network (SICCI-WEN) jointly celebrated International Women’s Day in conjunction with SG50.
This event also marked the official launch of SICCI’s WEN.
Ms Helen Campos, Chairperson of SICCI’s WEN, “We are proud to take the lead in recognizing women’s role in business and the professions with the creation of the Women Entrepreneur Network for Entrepreneurs & Professionals also known as WEN in short.
The WEN was established with the purpose of harnessing the capabilities and resources of women entrepreneurs and professionals to encourage and enhance women’s role in business and to promote entrepreneurship development in Singapore.
The WEN’s mission, moving forward with the co-operation of members will be to accelerate women’s opportunities to start, manage and invest in businesses and provide a more invigorating environment and opportunities for women entrepreneurs to enrich and enhance their personal and professional lives.”
WEN Membership is open to all women business owners:
- who wish to promote their businesses and network with other women business owners;
- who want to interact with complementary national and international organizations
Ms Helen Campos invites all women to come forward and play a role. Success can only be possible if there is a united commitment to contribute by providing leadership, financial and other resources that will influence and inspire the growth and development of women entrepreneurship.
