Singapore was meant to roll out a pilot programme for short term business travelers to stay here without quarantine. However, this has been delayed till the end of February.

This unique travel lane called Connect@Singapore was supposed to be introduced in late January. Currently, the facilities earmarked for this scheme called Connect@Changi, namely the Singapore Expo and Max Atria, are being set up.

Connect@Singapore will allow business, official and high-economic value travelers who are on short trips (less than 14 days) to be put up within dedicated facilities. Travelers who choose to go through Connect@Singapore will be brought to the facilities from the airport and will be regularly tested and must confirm to safe management measures.

The facilities have not started accepting reservations yet. Connect@Changi will start of by offering 670 guest rooms and 170 meeting rooms, although this is expected to increase later in the year. The Connect@Singapore travel lane was announced in 2020 and was meant to complement the other existing travel lanes that have been established.
