Andrew Campos is owner and director of MC
Campos Tax Services Pte Ltd and comes with over 20 years of proven
Singapore and international tax experience.
Andrew is well versed in Corporate, GST and
Personal Tax advisory and compliance matters having worked at IRAS and in
public practice in Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom covering a broad
spectrum of clients including multi-nationals from banking, pharmaceuticals,
telecommunications and trading houses. With knowledge of the three main tax
types, he is able to provide a one-stop service.
In Singapore, he has successfully negotiated
with IRAS in dispute resolutions and with regulatory bodies for tax incentives
earning significant benefits to his clients. Notably, Andrew advocated a change
in legislation for international communications for a global communications
company. This was duly adopted and implemented. Andrew was also assigned as the
preferred tax advisor for a spin-off fund manager of a major western
government. In Hong Kong, he led the tax aspect of multi-nationals entry and
operations as well as tax risk management in Asia Pacific. His good knowledge
and experience of Hong Kong Profits Tax enables him to structure efficiently
using Singapore or Hong Kong. As a result of his work in Hong Kong, he then
moved to the United Kingdom advising on international tax structuring,
cross-border as well as mergers and acquisitions.
As a Fellow Chartered Accountant, his
knowledge of accounting enables him to guide his clients in the accountancy
related aspects of taxation which is critical.
Andrew has co-authored tax publications and
articles and is a speaker at many tax seminars and training courses.
In addition to his successful practice,
Andrew has business interests in Singapore and in the Philippines.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from Singapore and is a Fellow Member of both the
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and Chartered Accountants
of Singapore. He is also an Accredited Income Tax and GST Advisor with the
Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals and is a member of the
Singapore Institute of Directors.
